Five basic colors are used: red, blue, yellow, black and white. You can see Dan-chung when you visit a temple or a palace in Korea. : :Lotus Lantern is one of Koreafs traditional lanterns. One of the offerings for Buddha is a lantern. The lantern symbolizes wisdom. When you light a lantern, darkness flees, likewise if you light your mind with wisdom, your delusions will disappear. You can enjoy the process of making a lantern of your own. :You can also participate in Lotus Lantern Festival on 23 May, 2004. : :This will be a good opportunity for foreigners to learn Korean traditional culture as well as practice speaking Korean! : :It is sponsored by Seoul Metropolitan Government. :There are 26 traditional culture classes in Buk-Chon Culture Center.
