[ 07-04-2004 ] Henry Ford died( 7th April 1947)
He was an industrialist and pioneer automobile manufacturer in US, and was born in Wayne Co.
When he was 15, he worked a machinist¡¯s apprentice to the post of chief engineer at Edison Co. in Detroit. He built his first experimental car in 1896. Also he formed the Ford Motor Co with several partners in 1903.
Ford developed new mass-production methods, including the first moving assembly line in 1913.
