[ 21-12-2003 ] The Creation of Salvation Army (21st December 1878)
William Booth, of British Origin, formed The Salvation Army to support public welfare and introduce Christianity in 1878. William Booth began to travel to poorer areas to offer help and relief to the poor. The Salvation Army is based on military systems, and is characterized by an organized persona. The Salvation Army was introduced in Korea in 1908.
