Kimchi lists of Internationally Accepted Goods A favorite traditional Korean foodKimchi is expected to be on the list of internationally accepted goods registered as trade marks, a move which would contribute to increasing export through a better management of its brand. The Korean Intellectual Property Office said with the English designation of ˇ°Kimchiˇ± to be listed on the Nice Agreement concerning the International Classification of Goods and Services for the Purposes of the Registration of Marks starting Jan. 1, 2007, the international prestige of the staple side food will be upgraded in terms of better trade mark protection and overseas shipments.
