British Museum Raised to Display of North Korea Article.
The Korea Foundation announced in 1st April it was sending a letter of concern to the British Museum, which it had learned was displaying five pieces of North Korean propaganda, as well as 25 pottery pieces in the lobby of the entrance to its Korean Room.

The Korea Foundation, president Lee In-ho donated US$1.68 million for the opening of the Korean booth in November 2000. National Museum officials also criticized the British Museum saying it was not observing the principle of the exhibitions.
Korean Room curator Jane Portal said there was no political intention in the display, noting that North Korea has been going through what Chinese art experienced during the Cultural Revolution.
In response to this, the Korea Foundation officials said displaying pure North Korean cultural heritage would be no problem at all, but they were concerned about propaganda pieces.
