Apgujeong-dong has performed the function of fashion culture source, number one of the fashion for past 10 years. Apgujeong reminds us, first of all, of the street of Rodeo. The term, 'Rodeo street' is originated from Rodeo street in LA.. And a lot of fashion shops of famous designers moved into Apgujeong after Parco moved into Apgujeong. After that, the Apgujeong street became famous for the fashion, becoming seriously numero 1 of the fashion in Korea.
All the region of Apgugeong-dong was the filed of pear only 20 years ago. So, when spring comes, the field was covered with white bloom of pear. But, the region of Apgujeong-dong becomes the highest class of region in Korea after large scale of apartment was installed in the region, in the middle of 70'. To such an extent that there are most of famous national as well as international fashion brand of products in the market, the street of Apgujeong forms the Korean vast famous article market. And tourists don't stop to turn their steps to the street of Apgugeong due to the high class image and to original characteristic traits.
The Principal visitors to this street of Apgujeong, known as Bevery hill, is young people who are sensible to their attire.
