Korean belongs to the Altaic Language Group of Central Asia






Language plays an important role in forging any community. According to anthropological research Korean belongs to the Altaic Language Group of Central Asia. Turkish, Hungarian, Finnish, Mongol, Tibetan and Japanese are included in this Language group.

Korean characters were created by King Sejong of The Joseon period. They are considered to be one of the most scientific language systems in the world. As the economy of Korea has developed, many Korean companies have been established in foreign countries in the world. The number of Korean
departments in universities in foreign countries has increased, especially in Eastern European countries. The number of foreigners learning Korean is also increasing.
