Term of Use and Notice
[What's On Korea's Term of Use and Notice] Article 1 [Purposes] 1. What's on Korea (www.whatonkorea.com) provides its internet related services from What's On Seoul, subject to the following terms of service, which is regulated by what's on. In addition, the purpose of using those services, What's on shall have preserved right and obligation on any posted guidelines or rules applicable to the services. 2. In consideration of your use of the Service though What's On procedures registration form, you may understand. What's on also assumes that you agree with all the guidelines and regulations which are noticed. What's on rights and obligations are accorded as the related legal guardian and a commercial practice. Article 2 [Definition of User] "User" simply means those who have the access to What's on internet services and registered as the member of What's On. Article 3 [Registration of membership] 1. You may become a member of What's On by applying and agreed the complete a form about yourself as prompted by the registration by submitting them. 2. Excluded users from the following regulations are permitted to register What's On membership according to Article 1. ¨ç If the user has been grounded as defined in Section 6 Clause 3 from the membership in past, however the user excluses qualified after 3 years of disqualification. ¨è Cases of any untrue, inaccurate, current registered information. ¨é If a user's registration may be harmful for What's On technology matters. 3. You will receive the approval of What's On when you complete What's On service's registration process. 4. The user is responsible for any change of the information and is asked to make an immediate correction by article 1. Article 4 [Providing and changing service] 1. What's On currently provides users the following services. ¨ç Community service ¨è Column service ¨é Mail notify service ¨ê Various contents in different sections, suitable services for users ¨ë What's on develops services or co-operates with other companies for up dated services which will also be provided. 2. New realizing service and up dated information will be noticed each times from section 2 in clause 7, all of these can change the information which will be provided as defined in Section 1 Article 5 [Termination of the service] 1. What's on Korea may temporary terminates of the service and remove and discard any contents, for any reason, including problem of communication system for instances, no internet connection, up grading repair, etc. You may completely terminate the service with the accordance of What's On for any reason. 2. As defined in the Clause 7, in Section 3, you may receive a notice through the process explained in Clause 1. However, if the termination is caused from third party or external reason (master's intended termination, uncontrolled obstruction, system down) you may not receive any notice. Article 6 [Disqualified user for termination] 1. User may always notice the termination to What's On and the termination process will immediately deactivate or delete your account and al related information. 2. What's On may deactivate and delete the user's membership through proper process or limit the service as following causes. ¨ç Inaccurate and untrue information on registration form ¨è Disturbance for other user using what's On and giving internet traffic ¨é Any illegal and prohibited action using what's on 3. The membership may delete with above reasons soon as What's on decides the termination. In this case, the user will receive a notice before the deletion and get a chance for an explanation. Article 7 [Notice on users] 1. What's On may notice to a specific user through the e-mail address recorded on registration form. 2. What's On may post the up dated and any information to unlimited number of users. Therefore, no individual notice will occur. Article 8 [Protect the members personal information] What's On agree and acknowledge all the preserved user's personal information contents and protect the rights, property in the good faith belief by law. Users are protected by the regulation of What's On by individual safety policy. Article 9 [The responsibility of What's On] 1. What's On will not proceed any prohibited actions by the law and regulations. What's On will continuously provides safe service. 2. What's On protect users by the safety system for better internet service and to protect the users including user's credit information. 3. What's On does not mail any unwanted information or profit-making purposed. Article 10 [Responsibility on member account and password] 1. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of the password and remain the account. You are fully responsible for all activities that occur under your membership information. 2. Use should keep the password and ID confidential and ensure that you do not share with other users. 3. When you loss and damage your ID and password, or somebody uses your these, you may immediately notify to the What's On and follow the What's On instruction as defined in Clause 3. Article 11 [Member's conduct ] 1. Users are prohibited to the following. ¨ç Untrue and false information given upon the registration. ¨è Changing posted information on What's On ¨é Unlawful and abusive actions on other user of What's On ¨ê Using other member's ID and password. ¨ë Sending junk mail, Spam mail, chain letters, violence contents either in voice or picture mails and all other negatively effects other user's ability to use What's On service are prohibited. ¨ì Sending unauthorized articles or files (Computer program) by the law ¨í Pretending What's On official member or administrator of What's On and posting information or sending mails to members ¨î Disrupting the normal flow of communication, slowing down computer soft ware, hard ware, or other systems. Also sending mails with harmful purposes such as virus, file, programs are also prohibited. ¨ï Interfering with other service and member such as stalking ¨ð Collecting, storing, and opening the personal information to the public without the permission ¨ñ Profit making purposes using What's On internet services to unlimited users and commercializing and sending Spam mails. ¨ò Violate term of service and regulation of use 2. What's On may delete and discard the membership upon the violation of the regulation as defined in Clause 1 through proper methods. (By section 6 and 2.) 3. User is responsible for all the harm that he or she have caused and should indemnify all the damage. Article 12 [Deleting posted information] If the user's posting articles are included in following cases, What's On may delete that article without any notice also may discard or terminate the membership and all the services. ¨ç Disrupt the to other user by abusing and slandering. ¨è Disobey any requirements and regulations by circulating harmful or illegal information. ¨é All the crime related and illegal contents ¨ê Abusing other users' property and right ¨ë Disobeying any procedures and regulations Article 13 [Copyright property and limited use] 1. All the content created by What's On and other porperty belongs to What's on. 2. User may not copy, spreading or circulating, publishing and broadcasting from the use of what's On services without permission and approvals. Article 14 [Modification of the policies] 1. What's On reserves the right to modify the terms of use. However, What's On will not violated the regulations such as cyber exchange regulations, electronic signing systems, internet communication use, and etc. 2. If there is a modification, What's On will post the reason of modification and post the existing and new term of use for 7 days before the application. 3. New terms of use will be applied to existing users if the modification doesn't violate the new regulations. 4. If there is any objection on the modification, the use may terminate the membership and all the services. Article 15 [Jurisdiction] All the dispute between user and What's On will be instituted to Court of Justice of Korea. Additional rules : This provision will be applied from January 15, 2002.
