Since opening its doors in 1982 the Kukje Gallery has been at the forefront, representing the most current trends in Korean and international contemporary art.

The gallery has an unmatched reputation in Korea for having introduced many of the most critically acclaimed international artists, and for supporting the most promising emerging Korean artists. Kukje Gallery has played a major role in developing the domestic art market by working together with important collectors and art museums, and the world's leading galleries.

The Kukje Gallery has also opened The Restaurant and The Cafe on its premises so visitors can enjoy Seoul's best French/Italian dining at The Restaurant, and relax for coffee and assortment of baked goods at The Cafe after viewing the exhibition.
