If a tamer feeds a young bird for a given period of time, the bird remembers their countenance and becomes obedient to them like to its mother or friend. We teach parakeets ladder climbing and rope walking by using their natural ability to climb anywhere. This training is done through leading with feed or stirring with a finger.
