CGV Gangbyeon 11 - The First Multiplex in Korea

The CGV 11 is one of the biggest multiplex movie theaters in Korea. Located on the tenth floor of TechnoMart, it has 11 screens and approximately 2,000 seats.

The CGV is part of the Village Road Show of Australia and Golden Harvest of Hongkong, who own many movie theaters in a number of countries.   Before the CGV was built, there were no such movie theaters like it in Korea.

The modern sound system and comfortable seating certainly makes watching movies more enjoyable, and the interior is decorated so luxuriously it seems as if you are in a hotel rather than a movie theater! You can also enjoy an open sky-view of Han river through the window along the corridor.

The CGV also has an art gallery, displaying pictures of famous movie stars, posters of famous Korean movies and a magic eye of a famous Korean male movie star. There is also a list of the 100 most remembered movies that people want to see again,

The SEGA game center allows you to play high-tech games while waiting for your movie to start - an easy way to diminish boredom!

TechnoMart is Asia's biggest electronic trading complex and houses the CGV, along with a discount market, electronic stores, music stores, restaurants, a swimming pool, a health center and banking services.

Gangbyeon

It is linked to Gangbyeon station of subway line 2.
