A Lot of Shoe Stores in Dongdaemun Area

The streets of Cheonggyecheon and the surrounding area are all dedicated to shoe stores.

The stores are divided into sections for dressy shoes, sports shoes, children's shoes, mountain-climbing boots and sneakers stores.   All of the stores offer a discount of between 30-40%, making this area Korea's main shoe wholesale district.

The first floor of building A sells leather shoes, while the second and third floors sell seconds at a reduced price. The second and third floors of building B are mainly stocked with dressy shoes and you'll find many famous brands on sale here. Building C deals solely with sports shoes.

03:00-16:00 (Closed every Sunday)

Get off at Jongno 5-ga subway station (line 1), Dongdaemun station (lines 1 or 4), or Dongdaemun Stadium station of subway line 4
