Mecca of Pets - Toegyero pet street

Toegyero is an area full of pet shops, veterinary surgeries, and kennels.

Playing an important role as the main pet shop area in Korea, many pets are sold here. Koreans mainly own cats and dogs, although Toegyero sells many more dogs than cats.

Dogs such as poodles, chiawas and Shih Tzu are mainly sold here. These are all small breeds, due to the number of people who live in apartments today. Popular with children. Shih Tzu loterally means 'lion' as it has long hair over its face.

The Jindotgae is a native dog of Korea, and is renowned for being particularly loyal. The Sapsapgae is also a popular breed, and the Pungsangae originates from North Korea.

More information regarding pets can be found at Toegyero.
