COEX Intercontinental Seoul¡¯s Asian Live Gallery Hosts an invitation Exhibition by Kim Su

Every month the COEX Inter-Continental Seoul is proud to feature the works of an outstanding modern or contemporary Korean artist or group of artists at our second floor Asian Live Gallery.
In May 2002 we are proud to invite Ms. Kim Su to exhibit the unique formative words found in her work.
This artist makes very free use of her imagination to depict a variety of objects found in close proximity to our daily lives.
These include the shattered fragments of pottery of groups of figures situated as objects, in space or in fields, not unlike trees.

After her graduation from the department of Western painting at Chu-gae Arts University, Ms. Kim went on to study interior architecture and painting at Bourges National university in France. She has shown her works in numerous exhibitions beginning with the independent exhibition held in seoul from 1976 to 1981 and the highlights of her career include a 1989 exhibition of her architectural drawings in Paris, and an individual exhibition held in 2001 at the Agllery Monseau. Currently she is a lecture at Ulsan University.

The COEX Inter-Continental Seoul strives to provide opportunities for Korean artists to share their artistic talents with the world through the selection of their painting for the Hotel¡¯s décor and such exhibitions as this. In so doing the Hotel¡¯s patrons enjoy a rare opportunity to come in contact with fine arts in a myriad of styles and modes of expression
