Jumunjin Beach

Jumunjin Coast is located in North of Gangneung. With a beach over 700m long, 15 thousand §³ with soft white sand, a huge number of summer visitors come every year to enjoy the sun and surf. Hyangho is located near the beach for visitors to enjoy fishing.
White sand and fine wood characterize the beach. During the summer, visitors are attracted to the lights coming off fishing boats in the harbors of Uamjin, Ohrijin, and Jumunjin where they enjoy very cheap fresh fish.
The beach is open from 10th July to 20th August with camp grounds including 440 tents for public use. A variety of accommodations are available such as hotels, motels, guest houses and so on.
