Gwacheon Seoul Grand Park, Rare Animals and Plants

Seoul Grand Park is located at the bottom of Mt. Cheonggye. It has an animal and plant section, Seoul Land Theme park, and the National Museum of Contemporary Art.
There are 400 kinds of rare animals and 1,200 kinds of rare plants to be observed in a natural setting. It's a big place but if you get tired the King Kong or Elephant Buses both transport you within the park, stopping right in front of the zoo and botanic gardens. The 365 species at the Zoo are divided into 30 sections. The viewing tunnels allow close observation of all animals.

The African halls feature animals from the prairies such as Zebras, Giraffes, and Ostriches and also carnivores such as lions and cheetahs. In the marine animal hall you can see white bears, seals, and dolphins. The dolphin show is a popular attraction. In other cages the Siberian tiger and Jaguar reside. The star here is the white tiger. It is so difficult to breed the White Tiger that the probability of success is not even 1/10000.
