Yang Jae Dong Flower Market,

Visit Yang Jae Flower Market and envelop yourself in the sights and scents of Korea¡¯s horticultural industry.
Korea has four distinct seasons but of course, the best time to visit is in the spring.   It¡¯s pretty crowded on both weekends and weekdays, but it¡¯s quite an experience, seeing row after row of the countless buds.   And you can find everything here, from delicate gardenias to massive outdoor garden trees ready for planting. Flower retailers usually take over from one in the morning to three in the afternoon, but Ga-dong and Na-dong are open from 9:00 am to 8:00 pm for the general public. On Sundays, they open just one area, Ga-dong or Na-dong.

High season at the market lasts from March to June with more crowds and of course more flowers.   And if you like an infinite variety of flowers (1,500 different types), it¡¯s the only place to really get deals; for a mere 5,000 won ($4 or 450 Yen), you can pick out a nice bouquet for your dining table or that special someone in your life.   Pansies, daisies, violets, geraniums, pot marigolds, tulips, narcissuses¡¦..
