Park Eul Bok Embroidery Museum

Park Eul Bok is a master embroider in Korea, and recently opened an embroidery museum in her house in Uidong, Seoul on May 25th. The museum covers 110 Pyeong and sits on 2 floors; with 2,000 pyung of space outside. The museum is located in Baek-Eun-Dae, near Mt. Bukhan.
Park has worked in embroidery for 60 years with the museum showing her devotion to a life in embroidery and is a mixture of the present and the past.   She graduated from Ewha Women¡¯s University and was awarded a national award for her work.   Her 40 articles are showcased and 124 embroidery books are also displayed in the museum. She was affected not only with Japanese styles but also expresses the truly distinctive Korean embroidery style.
