| Joseon dynasty¡¯s 22nd King Jeongjo is honored in this ceremony with the participation of thousands of citizens. The Galbi Festival and courtly dress show has been held during this few day event for hundreds of years. |

The Whaseong Culture Festival celebrates Whaseong (castle), recorded as one of the world¡¯s most famous culture relics in 1964.
The main events are the Ringing of the Bell, Fire Festival, Lantern Parade, Laser and Light Show, the Parade of King Jeongjo, and so on.
Also a multitude of events are held such as the Galbi Festival, a street festival and photo competition, traditional archery tournament and so on at Jangan Park in Suwon, 48 km south of Seoul.
