Amsa-dong Prehistoric Settlement like an open-air museum, this remote place is notable for prehistoric dwellings dating back to 3000 BC. The site has, of course, been restored.

Getting to Amsa-dong is a bit a expedition. The site is 1 km north of the Han river yachting area.

Namhansansong
Namhansanseong is about 25 km south-east of Seoul.
Namhansanseong does have a very impressive section of walled fortifications that date back to the 17th century. The wall, which winds sinuously over the Namhansan park and foothills for around 5km.
The walls that remain today date from 1621. They were built as a line of defense against the Manchus. When the Manchus invaded Korea in 1635, the King Kwanghae retreated here.
