Line no. 4, Blue Line

The cheapest way to tour Seoul is by taking the subway. On the subway you don’t waste time in traffic. Each line has lots of natural places to visit like parks and mountains. Hope you have a wonderful tour!
Seoul Grand Park station
Seoul Grand Park is within a five-minute walk from the number 5 exit. It is a great place consisting of a Botanical Garden, a Zoological Garden, a Theme Park, the National Contemporary Museum, etc. The Zoological and Botanical Gardens contain respectively a variety of 400 species of animals and 1,200 species of plants in their natural state. There is also a pool with dolphins.
Opening hours 09:00 ~ 19:00(open 365 days a year)
Dolphins' pool weekdays three shows per day; Weekends - four shows per day.
First show- 11:30 / Second show- 13:30 / Third show- 15:00 /   Fourth show- 16:30
   
Seoul Race Course station
Seoul Race Course is within a five-minute walk from exit No. 3.   Horse races are held on Saturday and Sunday only.   There are 12 races held per day and there is a 30 to 50-minutes interval between races. There are 616 Korean horses and 744 foreign horses. Participants can first choose the racehorses from the list, complete the betting form then buy tickets from ticket booths.

Icheon station: Yongsan Family Park
Yongsan Family Park is within a ten-minute walk from Icheon station. With its large lawns, small ponds, and walking paths, it will give you the feeling that you are wandering within any other famous parks all over the world. The 7 acres of large lawns and ponds are home to geese and different kinds of ducks. At Yongsan Family Park, there are 15,000 trees from 80 different species, thus enticing people to learn more about nature. There is also a place called Barefoot Road?where walking barefoot on the 146-meter road will provide you with a fantastically therapeutic pressure massage.

Samgakji station: Korean War Memorial
The Korean War Memorial is within a 2 to 3 Minute walk from number 11 or 12 exit of Samgakji station. There you can see at a glance the history of Korea, including the Korean War. There are indoor and outdoor exhibition rooms with approximately 3,600 items.
Opening hours 09:30 ~ 18:00 (Closed every Monday)

Hoehyeon station: Namdaemun Market
Exit No.5 at Hoehyeon station. Namdaemun Market is one of the best-known sightseeing spots in Seoul, checked out at least once by any visitor to Seoul. It also has a 580-year history of dealing with the public. The best part is Namdaemun Market that offers a multitude of high quality items priced lower than in any other shopping area. Of particular interest is the Namdaemun Market brand of clothing, which sells for as low as half the price of other brand name clothing.   Namdaemun Market is also known for eyeglasses and accessories.

Myeong-dong station: Myeong-dong
Exit No. 6. Myeong-dong is a place that is believed to attract one million people a day and is the most fashionable district. If you want to see the new Korean generation, you should definitely take a look at Myeong-dong.   Beauty care related shops including skin care, foot care, diet, etc. have recently developed in this area.   This has made Myeong-dong popular with women. Wholesalers and retailers comprise more than half of Myeong-dong in entire market, and the rest of the market is made up of manufacturing, finance, insurance, services etc.

Chungmuro station: Namsangol Hanok Maeul (Korean village)
Exit No. 3 at Chungmuro station. Namsangol Hanok Maeul is a restored Korean village exhibiting tools and five traditional houses called Hanok? Namsangol Hanok Maeul is not only a museum showing traditional Korean houses but also the place to buy traditional craft and experience Korean culture. Every Saturday a traditional wedding ceremony is held, together with traditional dance performances.

Hyehwa station: Daehangno
Exit number 1 at Hyehwa station.   Daehangno, also called University Street? has a number of musicals and plays and is famous for its Marronnier Park.   This area also has a lot of caf?, taverns and restaurants so people can try various foods and drinks from Korea and other countries.

Sungshin Women's Univ station : Donam-dong street
Donam-dong Street at Sungshin Women Univ. station is well known as Fashion Street because of the many boutiques and cafe in this area.   In 1990 especially, Donam-dong Street tended to attract people attention by being a teenager paradise and the second Myeong-dong in Seoul.
