Foreign tourists frequently visit royal cuisine specialty restaurants where they serve Korean set meals.

Gayarang (Royal Cuisine Specialty Restaurant)

It is most natural to sit on the hot stone floor, called 'Ondol'. But, they also provide tables and chairs in compliance with foreign customer's wishes. As for desert, fruit, rice nectar, and rice cakes are served after finishing the meal.   Although it is a Korean royal cuisine specialty restaurant, several kinds of meals are served. The price of most meals is from 15,000 won to 60,000 won.   

How to get there It is about 200m away from the Hyatt hotel in Itaewon in the direction of Gyeongnidan. It is across from the 'Itaewon Jugong Apartment' Korean National Housing Corporation Apartments, situated in Itaewon.

Yongsusan

Food such as mook, meat, Gujeoplan, Gaeseong Bossam, Kimchi, Gaeseong wild greens are included in every meal here. And the royal cuisine meal set includes delicacies such as Yukhoe, Galbi, prawns, abalone, and Shinseollo The price of 'Shinseollo' is 18,000 won.

How to get there Get off at the Cheongdam Station on the number 7 line, and take exit no 8. It is located on the left side, about 200m away from the exit.
